Not sure which size? Most people choose the 16 × 20. It's the size where the pixels do what they're supposed to do- abstract up close, unmistakably him from across the room. The 8 × 10 is a smaller piece for a desk, a shelf or a hallway. The 20 × 26 is the one that owns the room, and only eight people will ever own it.

I grew up on Queen. A little town in Scotland, my parents playing the records far louder than the house could take, no sense at all that this was unusual. I still have that vinyl.
So this one wasn't a decision so much as an inevitability.
The pixel format strips detail and keeps recognition. What's lost in resolution gets replaced by whatever you already carry of him - and everyone carries something. The stance. The jaw. Wembley. You don't need the detail, which is the entire argument the work is making.
